The Senior Services Center of Will County held it’s 26th Annual Gala on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Jacob Henry Mansion in Joliet. This year’s gala encompassed a “Life’s a Beach” theme, featuring an exquisite dinner, live entertainment by SHiNDiG, a silent auction, and a live auction with Lynne Lichtenauer and WRDR’s Mary Lancaster and Natalie Manley as auctioneers. Founded in 1966, the Senior Services Center of Will County, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to improving the independence and self-sufficiency of Will County’s aging population by offering a comprehensive range of programs designed to enhance the quality of life for seniors and their families. These programs include a care coordination unit, education, prevention, socialization and mobility. It is through donations and events such as the Annual Awards Gala that the Center can serve Will County’s seniors. Click the link below for a couple of snapshots of the event.
