Wermer, Rogers, Doran & Ruzon was voted 2016 Best Accountant/Financial Advisors in Will County in The Herald-News Reader’s Choice Awards. A special section of the Sunday December 4th edition of the Herald News featured all the winners. Thank you to Katie Napier and Tom Lancaster for representing the firm at the Best of Will County winners celebration on the evening of December 1, 2016. On Friday, November 25, Downtown Joliet hosted the Light Up the Holidays Festival and Parade. Various activities took place throughout the day. The tree lighting was held at Van Buren Plaza followed by the Holiday Parade. WRDR was featured on a parade balloon. David Meyer volunteered his services of lining-up parade entries and then joined his family to watch the parade and fireworks. Katie Napier and her family also enjoyed watching the parade and fireworks.
On Sunday, November 27, Christy Ely and her daughter, Addy, attended the Von Heidecke’s Chicago Festival Ballet “The Nutcracker” at the Rialto Square Theatre downtown Joliet. The ballet is performed annually and this was Christy and Addy’s third year attending. Every year Addy enjoys picking out a “nutcracker” and writing the year on the bottom of it to create a collection of mother/daughter memories!
