The WRDR team has been all over town for different community events. This one is a throwback to the Cornerstone Champagne Luncheon where the team celebrated Turkey Day in style. Take a look at the photos from the event.
It seems some of the members from our fitness club, Feets of Fury, had a wunderbar “wonderful” time at the St. Ray’s Oktoberfest 5k which was hosted on October 14th 2017. Take a look at some of the photos snapped at the event.
A couple members of WRDR, Braden McClintock and Amy Vicioso participated the the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 7th 2017. Also joining Braden and Amy were Jessica Thompson, Patricia McClintock, Daniel Bruns and Mallory Bruns. Everyone had a great time, especially for such a great cause.
On Saturday September 9, 2017 Mary and Tom Lancaster attended the Red Tie Ball presented by Lewis University with new President Dr. David Livingston at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling was the guest speaker.
All proceeds from the Red Tie Ball will be directed to the Lewis University Mission Fund, which provides additional support to the University’s most financially at-risk students. Since its inception in 2009, more than 250 students who were facing potential withdrawal from the University due to severe financial hardship have been able to continue their pursuit of a degree through support from the Mission Fund. On September 10, 2017, Natalie Manley and Mary Lancaster along with their WJOL sidekick Lynne Lichtenauer, modeled in the 9th annual Presence St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary Fashion Show. Fashions from Chico’s of Orland Park, Soft Surroundings of Naperville and Athleta of Naperville were highlighted. The luncheon at the Bolingbrook Golf Club featured a silent auction. Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit the Behavioral Health Revitalization Project at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Click the link to view a couple of photos of the event.
